# Índice ISM dos Serviços nos EUA supera expectativas em Maio

Em Maio, a actividade dos serviços nos Estados Unidos expandiu (>50 pontos) pelo 23.º mês, superando as estimativas dos economistas.

A leitura revelou o maior ganho no sector dos serviços em três meses com um aceleramento nos preços pagos e novas encomendas. Por outro lado, o emprego continuou a contrair.

➡️ ISM Serviços (Mai):

Actual: 54,5 🟢  
Previsto: 53,8  
Anterior: 53,6

➡️ ISM Preços Pagos (Mai): 

Actual: 71,3 🔴  
Previsto: 72,3  
Anterior: 70,7

➡️ ISM Novas Encomendas  (Mai):

Actual: 57,3 🟢  
Previsto: 53,4  
Anterior: 53,5

➡️ ISM Emprego (Mai):

Actual: 47,9 🔴  
Previsto: 48,8  
Anterior: 48,0

Os preços no sector dos serviços atingiram máximos desde Agosto de 2022 o que não é um bom sinal para a inflação.
